Linn County Conservation is offering a new tech-tour to help visitors and residents learn more about natural resources. The tour, Linn County Conservation Park Tour: Yours to Explore Naturally Program, is a self-led audio/visual tour designed to provide users with resources via their cellular phone. The tour program is powered by OnCell Systems.
The park tour program is initially set up at Morgan Creek Park Arboretum. There are 10 different tree locations along the arboretum trail that are tour stops. At each stop, visitors can call a telephone number and enter a tour stop number or scan a QR code to hear additional information. Information at each tour stop includes details about the species habitat, growing conditions, leaves, flowers, uses and more.
Morgan Creek Park Arboretum is features over 250 species of trees and shrubs. Arboretum hours are from 7:00AM to 10:30PM. The park is located at 7515 Worcester Road, Palo. Entrance to the park is free and using the tech-tour program is free.
