Matsell Bridge Shooting Range

July 8, 2014 — Matsell Bridge Shooting Range is OPEN
The 50 & 100 yard range cells at Matsell Bridge shooting range are open for the 2014 season.  The range opening was delayed this year due to the unusual amount of snow and ice that persisted throughout most of March.   The 200 yard range cell is currently closed. Planning and engineering work is complete for the 200 yard range cell modifications as well as a new 15 yard cell.  The contractor has been hired and we hope to complete the work on the 200-yard and 15 yard cells by fall of 2014, although weather conditions may require an adjustment to the construction schedule.  The shotgun range closed in fall of 2013 and will not re-open at this location. The conservation board is looking into other options.
